Employee Relations Network

The Employee Relations Network was set up in 2016 to facilitate peer learning and promote a collaborative approach to managing HR cases in the civil service HR community.

The sessions provide a shared space for civil service HR practitioners, representatives from the CMO’s Office, the Civil Service Employee Assistance Service (CSEAS) and the CSHR Policy Unit to discuss case management experiences and best practice, as well as obtain legal expertise and key employment law updates.

Sessions are held quarterly and focus on a range of topics. Sessions-to-date have focused on reasonable accommodation, managing mental health issues within the workplace, managing probation effectively, data protection and absence management.
